Include the event name or the invite link if your question is about an event, and the email you signed up with if it’s about your account. To report a photo or a message that shouldn’t be there, send us the invite link and we’ll take it down.

At an event

The QR code opens, but the camera is blocked.

Open the link in Safari on iPhone or Chrome on Android, not inside Instagram or WhatsApp. When the browser asks for the camera, allow it. If you already said no, go to the phone’s Settings, find Safari or Chrome, and turn the camera back on for websites.

I took photos but I can’t see them.

That’s the point of Mira. Nobody sees a photo until the reveal time the host chose, not even the person who took it. Until then you only see how many shots you have left. At the reveal, open the same link again.

After the reveal I only see my own photos.

The host chose that setting for this event: each guest sees their own photos and the host sees everything. Ask the host for the ones you want.

I’m out of shots.

Every guest gets the same number of shots, set by the host, like a real disposable camera. Only the host can change it, from the event’s settings.

The event is over. Can I still add photos?

Usually yes. The host picks how long the camera stays open after the end, up to a week. If the host allowed camera-roll uploads, you can also add photos you took on your own phone during the event.

I left a voice message and now I can’t hear it.

Voice messages on a tape stay sealed until the reveal, even for the host. If the tape is just for the host, only they will hear it, and the recorder told you that before you pressed record.

I’m in a photo I don’t want shared.

Ask the host first: they can delete any photo at any time. If you can’t reach them, send us the invite link and describe the photo and we’ll remove it.

Hosting

How do I download everything?

Open the event, go to Settings and choose Download originals. We pack the full-quality originals into a zip and email you a link, which stays live for a few hours. You can ask for a new one any time.

Can I change when the event ends or when it reveals?

Yes, from the event’s settings, as long as the reveal hasn’t happened yet. Once an event is revealed its timing is locked; you can still delete photos and download.

More people are coming than I planned.

Open the event’s People list and upgrade to a bigger size. The new limit applies immediately and the QR code stays the same.

Can I change the camera style afterwards?

Yes. Pick original, vintage or black & white in the event’s settings at any time. We always keep the originals, so nothing is lost by switching.

Do my guests need the app?

No. The QR code opens the camera or the recorder in their phone’s browser. No app, no account, just a name. Only hosts use the app or the website.

How do I delete an event or my account?

Delete an event from its settings. Delete your account from the Account screen in the app or on the web. Both remove the originals and every copy from our storage right away. Purchases tied to deleted events can’t be refunded.

Payments and refunds

What does it cost?

Events with up to 5 guests are free, with every feature. Bigger events are a single payment per event based on the guest limit. There is no subscription and nothing renews.

Can I get a refund?

Before the first photo or message lands, yes: write to us and we reverse it. After that the event is in use and we can’t refund it. If something broke on our side, write to us anyway and we’ll make it right.

I paid in the app. Who refunds that?

Purchases made in the iPhone app are charged by Apple and purchases in the Android app by Google, so refunds for those go through them: reportaproblem.apple.com or the order history in Google Play. Tell us too, and we’ll confirm the event is unused.

I need an invoice.

Web payments come with a Stripe receipt by email. For store purchases, Apple and Google email their own receipts. If you need a factura, write to us with your RFC.
