Privacy, in plain words.

Mira stores as little as it can and never sells any of it. This page says exactly what we keep and why.
What we store
Hosts: your email address, a display name, your password (hashed), and the events you create with their settings.
Everyone: the photos taken at an event — the original file plus the styled and resized copies we render — along with the time they were taken and the name of who took them.
Guests: a display name for that event, and nothing else. Guests never have an account.
Where it lives
Photos are stored in Amazon Web Services (S3) and served through short-lived signed links. Account and event records live in our database. Payments are handled by Stripe, Apple or Google — we never see your card number.
What we don't do
No ads. No selling or sharing your data. No advertising or tracking SDKs. The only third-party code that runs inside Mira is crash reporting, so we can fix bugs.
Who can see the photos
Before the reveal, guests see only their own shot count. After the reveal, visibility follows the host's setting: everyone sees everything, or each guest sees only their own. The host sees every photo at any time and can delete any of them.
Deleting
Hosts can delete a single photo, a whole event, or their account from inside Mira. Deleting removes the originals and every copy from storage. Guests can ask the host to remove their photos, or write to us.
Changes
If this page changes, we update the date at the top and let hosts know by email when it matters.
